GALAXIS | MINI HF-AMPLIFIER | BLACK/SILVER EDITION | RENT
GALAXIS | MINI HF-AMPLIFIER | BLACK/SILVER EDITION
The small HF amplifier is an accessory device that is used together with a Galaxis PFS Profi or a Galaxis PFC Advanced to increase the range of the radio signal. It is plugged directly into the XLR connection of a gooseneck light. The connection to the antenna is made via a short BNC cable and the antenna is connected to the RF amplifier instead of directly to the PFC/PFS as usual.
For operation with the Galaxis PFC Advanced, the RF amplifier requires an additional RS232 connection to the controller. This connection enables the amplifier to switch between receive and transmit mode. This RS232 connection is not required for the Galaxis PFS Profi, as the device only transmits on one side anyway and has no receive function.
Important note:
The transmission power amplifiers have a higher transmission power than permitted in Germany. For this reason, these devices are generally only sold for export. Anyone wishing to purchase such a device in Germany must either present an operating license from the RPT (Regulatory Authority for Post and Telecommunications) or give a written undertaking not to use the device in Germany.
